Neel joined High Street Dental Practice in 2010 and has committed his long term future to the practice. He carries out a range of general family dentistry, as well as more advanced care such as cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. He undertook his dental training at Bristol University and has a particular interest in dental implants and treating nervous patients. Neel also writes for the Dental Tribune on issues concerning the dental profession and supporting patients’ rights, as well being on the editorial board of a number of dental journals. Interests include swimming, running, cooking and more recently a new passion for Kung Fu!

 

 
 


Catherine Louise Watts   Associate Dentist GDC No. 65471

Louise qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 1990 and has lived and worked in the Cambridge area since 1996.  She joined the practice part time in 2009 and increased her hours to full time in 2013. Louise enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry, which involves the repair of teeth, for example fillings, root canal treatment and crowns.  She has a busy home life with her two teenage daughters and her springer spaniel Sam.  Interests include travelling, theatre, cinema, eating out and country walking.

 

 

 
 
           

Angela Girgis   Associate Dentist GDC No. 68485

Angela studied dentistry at King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 1992. She joined the practice in 2013, having worked in the Newmarket and Cambridge area since 1998. Angela has a special interest in Endodontics, the root treatment of teeth. She is very happily married with three children and keeps herself extremely busy training and competing for iron man triathlons!

Sarah qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1998. She further developed her career by studying dental hygiene at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London, qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2001 and joined our team in September 2001.  Interests include camping, fishing, card-making and cooking.

 

 

Administration

 

 

Michelle Batt   Practice Manager

 

As our practice manager, it is Michelle’s job to make sure the whole place runs smoothly. She organises the day, keeps the team happy and ensures smooth systems are in place. Michelle joined the practice in January 2012, coming back to the village of Sawston where she grew up, having built a successful career in Management, Business Development and Sales. Her interests include art, music, graphic design and ‘Hendrix’ her chocolate Labrador.

 

 

 

Jo Parker   Receptionist/Dental Nurse GDC No.127807

Jo has worked in dentistry since leaving school in 1996.  She commenced her career as a Dental Nurse, progressing to a combined role of Dental Nurse and Reception.  Interests include keeping fit, listening to music and tarot cards. Jo is a cat lover and loves her cat Stripey.

Louise joined the practice in October 1999 and is one of our longest serving nurses!  She loves spending quality family time with her husband and three children.  Interests include running, gym and her lovely dog Olly.

Mandy joined the Practice full time in 2010 as a qualified Dental Nurse.  Mandy’s interests include reading, music festivals and spending quality time with her two gorgeous dogs Izzi and Tilly.

Tracey joined the practice in 1985, left to get married and start a family and returned to the practice in 2006.  Tracey has a busy family life with her two teenage sons.  Interests include a passion for amateur dramatics, walking and dancing.

Annie joined the practice in 2007 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2010.  Annie is a busy mum to her beautiful daughters Ellie and Grace!  Interests include socialising, shopping and she has a keen passion for horse riding and keeping fit.
