I am very grateful to Neel Kothari’s attention to patient care on a routine dental examination. In March 2018 Neel checked my neck lymph glands as part of his dental pre-check. My thyroid glands were enlarged and he advised me to get this checked out at the doctor’s. This led to a total thyroidectomy in June where a biopsy found early stage carcinoma.
